Chartered Building Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed building inspections and produce condition and structural survey reports.
- Deliver professional advice on building defects, maintenance, refurbishment, and sustainability.
- Manage projects from initial design through to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Prepare tender documents, manage procurement, and oversee contract administration.
- Advise on dilapidations, lease obligations, and party wall matters.
- Assist clients with planning applications and ensure compliance with building regulations and health & safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and client relationship management.
Requirements
- Chartered Membership (MRICS) is essential.
- RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of building pathology, construction techniques, and property law.
- Excellent report-writing, project management, and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency with industry software and digital reporting tools.
- A valid and clean driving license
