AOCA Engineering Consultants is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our growing team in our Portlaoise office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, industrial, and public sector projects within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Architectural Technologist
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare planning, tender, and construction drawings.
- Develop detailed technical design solutions and construction details.
- Assist in project coordination with clients, contractors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, planning requirements, and relevant standards.
- Produce specifications and technical documentation.
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion.
- Conduct site visits and assist with project inspections as required.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience with Revit/BIM software is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction detailing.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving licence preferred.
